Setout ("the app") is developed by Mystery Info Solutions. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it's handled. In short: Setout does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Setout is an offline-first app. All information you create in the app — clients, projects, calendar visits, quotes, invoices, and any other content — is stored locally on your device in a private database. This data is never sent to us, to Apple, or to any third party by the app itself.
If you back up your device (for example, via iCloud or a local iTunes/Finder backup), your Setout data is included in that backup like any other app's local data. That backup is controlled by you and by Apple's or your backup provider's own policies — Setout has no visibility into it.
The app may request standard iOS/Android permissions needed for features such as sharing a quote or invoice (e.g. the share sheet). These permissions are used only to perform the action you request and are not used to collect data about you.
Setout is a business tool intended for freelance professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and in fact we do not collect data from anyone, as described above.
If this policy changes — for example, if a future version of Setout adds an optional cloud backup or sync feature — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above before that feature ships.
